Yeah, there wasn't much else in the box but I'll get an adapter just to be sure.

New graphics card has been got alarmingly fast, but upon installing I noticed it had a 8-slotted power supply and I only have two 6-pronged ones. I tried it anyway and it seems to work, but is this something I should be worried about?

Sounds like I made the right choice. I was initially going for the 960 due to budget but decided to save just a bit longer because of the aforementioned guffawing and therefore had some extra dosh.

Turns out I can't. The Johnson Christmas dinner will be crackers and American cheese this year.

I'll run OCCT to be sure, but I needed a new graphics card anyway so maybe it's not all bad.

Testing ram now, but in case it's the GPU, will changing my graphics card fix that? Or are we talking about the shiny silver square in the middle of my motherboard? (legit computer terms)

Oh, and there's an array of red lights on my graphics card, I'm not sure those were shining there before.

Yesterday, whilst playing a quick late night game of rocket league that I was most certainly winning, my screen had a lot of pink squares on it and suddenly froze.
