Re: Movie mini reviews
Been out watchin' films again. Star Trek Beyond It's actually decent! Don't need to give too many details about it because you pretty much know what expect outside of the plot. Not far off the first of the new ones, and much better than the second. Trailer (just like Ghostbusters) wasn't a good repr...

Re: Blood Bowl 2
I was tempted, but I still have the "is it any good?" question.
Steam reviews seem to point it's got a fair bit better post release.

Re: Movie mini reviews
Ghostbusters (2016) I rather enjoyed this, and the trailer does the film a disservice. Compared to the originals , it's mearly an okay film. It's lacking in the cleverness in plot, plot progression and dialogue, and it's also lacking in some of the suspense and serious tones underpinning the origin...

Re: Movie mini reviews
Independence Day : Resurgence I have nothing good to say about this as a film. It's just bad. Not the good kind of bad either. CGI is acceptable. Dialogue is just terrible, the budget clearly had run out when it came to paying for decent writers. Plot has one or two potential bits that could have b...

I thought Quake Champions actually looked pretty good.
Potentially a return to old school Q3 fun times.

Re: Euro 2016
92nd minute. Wowser.
Re: Euro 2016
I'm suprised it lasted out to 88 mins. I would though France would have smashed it 2-0 or 3-0 as it's the opening game.
Re: Payday 2
Hmm. We've just clocked over update 100: Starbreeze now own all of Payday's IP again (Bought back from 505 Games, for 505 owning a 5% stake in the business + $30M of sales rev). Microtransactions have been killed (with the above point, makes me think they were forced to implement it by 505, or it si...

Star Trek: Axanar
As I can't find the thread with it in: Good news: CBS/Paramount have dropped the suit against Axanar: http://www.axanarproductions.com/jj-abrams-announces-that-paramount-to-drop-lawsuit/ For those not aware of the project, Axanar is a fan-film that raked in about $1 million via KS that's set ~20 yea...

Re: Brum Bash X - The one not at Grimmie's parents' house
There's shootings and paintballings in the rough area around Eastern Brum, but now that the new Casa Del Grim is on the West (wrong!) side, I've no idea what's about.

I think the cities being made of multi-tile districts is going to be interesting, both on the economy front and the fighting front.

Also like the inclusion of localised damage, not played a game with that since Deus Ex or MW 4 a while back.

Re: Movie Trailers
Yeap, that trailer looked all kinds of good. Really liked the detail shown in the brief glances at the hangers under the ziggurats (probably Yavin IV). The X-Wings and the pilots looked pretty much spot on of the original trilogy rather than VIII (expected, considering the ~40 years between them). A...
