Re: Space Engineers

My idea: Step 1: Implement Berk's idea of creating a production line on the Big Pink Monster Step 2: Build drones. Lots and lots of drones. - They're pretty cheap: 1 gun, beacon, remote control etc (possibly 2 remotes for redundancy) Step 3: Implement Beacon Trick (not sure if this works, not tried ...

Re: Space Engineers

There are a lot of shiny eye candy mods and some potentially over powered cheaty ones. However there are also some very useful ones we might consider (should be MP compatible and dedi server safe). Above all though this would be really really useful: Signs! http://steamcommunity.com/id/sektan/mywork...

Re: Space Engineers

I think the server gone pooped. It lagged as I was messing around with crane settings. Crane meets Space Tuk Tuk, crane wins. A moment of silence for the small pink thing that was stuck up my backside.

Re: Space Engineers

I've been thinking a spacecraft carrier might be fun to build, give us something to move smaller, cheaper toys around, basically because we nearly ate that rock we're parked on. Few turrets etc for defence wouldn't hurt either. :) This is basically what I've been building. Would welcome some help a...

Re: Space Engineers

Logging out counts as dying for some reason. Make sure to empty your inventory before you leave. You need to build yourself a med clone bay (powered). But before building one, be sure to grind the one in your respawn ship first. This will set your respawn point up and logging out will no longer cou...

Re: Spackers! (Sounds emitting things)

A spikey wiggly thing arrived in the post today. I also received the new pot doohicky. It look at first sight like it'll fit inside the casing of the volumator. I'm hesitant to go on the offensive with my driver of screws for fear of reprisals, so for now I shall establish an observation post and wa...

Moved to West Drayton but may well take you up on the offer. If anything it'd be an excuse for a beer or two. I'll see if I can find the parts.

Edit: fuck knows if that thing you linked is what I need, but bought anyway

Re: Spackers! (Sounds emitting things)

GoogleFu says it's a fairly common problem with these spearkers when they get old. It also then goes on to talk about pots, resistors and solder, which scares me a bit. Mind you, since the only alternative is to bin the speakers and buy new, I have little to lose by fucking it up trying to fix thing...

Spackers! (Sounds emitting things)

Hello 5punkers. I have had some Cambridge Soundworks DTT2200 5.1 speakers for over 15 years and they've been excellent. Sadly it seems the pot on the volumator is going, which is giving rage inducing volume spikes. All the other bits are in fine fettle. I've been unable to find spare parts and am no...
