Super-clean pretty Windows installs

Well, after finally fixing my sister's PC (Mainly due to laziness rather than any major techie issues).. I have got my windoze computer back. Except; she's shitted it up with all her teenage girlie things, so I'm gonna try for a clean install, and after putting Ubuntu on her computer; I want the sam...

I saw this film with some friends, and we all had to agree "Fucking awesome film".. one of them went as far to say "Like original Die Hard but fixed". More money spent, more asplosions, funnnier bits where Willis can take the mick out of his oldness. PROFIT.

Its got asplosions, its gonna be nice on big screen

Being able to say "DIE HARD FOUR POINT OH!" --- By the way, why the 'Point Oh'?

Potatoshop CS2 isn't native for the new intelmacs. I'm not sure about CS3, it wouldn't make sense to release a new version and NOT make it "Universal" so I assume that one will be all well and good. I've got Macromedia suite 8 on my intelmac; and.. alas it isn't native, and thus runs like ...

I can remember when used to play CSS with the TS, and my press-to-activate button was Q, and Q also happened to be the button to 'switch to previous weapon'. So whenever I spoke on TS I'd start spacking as I constantly change between 2 weapons. So many of my comments would have been "*Suitably ...

Something else to add in to all this, reading the Business&Media section of the sunday papers, revealed that Virgin Media have recently increased the price of their helpline so that they're now premium rate numbers, which makes them extra bastards in my opinion.

I knew I'd find some fellow fans! Has anyone read any of his other books and thoroughly recommend them? I've really found myself in a rut for books recently, and need lots as I've got a beast of a holiday coming up.

Bill Bryson

I've read many of Bill Bryson's books, and recently couldn't find a decent book, so started re-reading one of his books, "A short history of nearly everything", and I realised how you guys would absolutely love his witty but extremely intelligent style. He's a Yank who lived over here in t...

Despite Roman's rant, Sky are better value if you've got their telly package already. £5/month for telephone (unlimited landline calls), and £10/month for 8mb broadband (However, this is if you're in one of their areas, and you've got to remember the £11/month BT fee despite it being Sky's ADSL con...

DAB Car Stereo

I've been trying to have a look around for a nice DAB car stereo for when I pass my driving test (Hopefully rather soon). At the moment the nicest I've seen is this one: m (Sony CDX-DAB6650 CD Player) Although thats not the best price: Froogle shows as cheap as £140. Any recommendations/better sugge...

From what I read in that description, I gathered a lot of the bonus came from having the filtering happen upon the signal entering the house, so that it doesn't come through any of the 'old fashioned' face plates. I think the best solution, would be to place your router near the master socket, and t...

I've also heard/seen some rather meaty stuff about the innards of the Unreal3 engine. About how it properly uses mutli-core processors. And despite having Physx card support; a dual core processor can just as easily hand over the Physx stuff to the other core. All very nice, and definitely quite mea...

I am yet to read a Pratchett book (A horrible crime I know!) But I seem to remember one of my family members being given this book as a gift a christmas or two ago. So I'm gonna try and root it out.

I say yes to this, for 2 reasons: the majority of posting 5punkers either don't use the arcade or have adblock, so would not be affected by them. So there is no harm in doing so.

edit: Oh yeah, definitely no malware..
