I was mostly in because DOS1 was fantastic but I was definitely in when I learned there's a playable lizardman race
oh yeah and all the cool stuff like competitive questing, skill combination system, quests that are more than "go here kill this" etc etc

Re: Sunday Symposium: What Is A Game?
call it DON'T WALK. the entire game is a street crossing, the little green man appears to indicate you can walk... but do you? the choice is yours. IGN rates it 9.5/10 etc

Re: Sunday Symposium: What Is A Game?
I'm not too concerned with what is or isn't a game. Much like what is or isn't an "art game", it's simply what the creators call it. They put out something they called a game, on a gaming platform, and people played it, so surely it's a game. Although, I do think there's something to the c...

Re: Games of 2015
the PC release is the version that's on PS4/XBONE, FJ. It's got massively updated graphics, otherwise first person mode would look a bit garbage. also, GTA4 was a failure of a release! It ran like absolute garbage on most people's machines and I think it was part of the reason rockstar decided not t...

Re: Games of 2015
here's some of the stuff me and my buddy have done in GTAV: went on a server where a player had a cargo helicopter. stole his cargo helicopter, flew around picking up NPC cars and dropping them from great heights onto players. low success rate, but when you do crush someone with a car from above it'...

Re: Games of 2015
the only thing I'm actually heart-explodingly excited about is GTAV for PC. I play with a friend on PS3 and we're never not laughing, but then add amazing graphics and full first person view to that andyup yup yup yup. other than that I'm looking forward to the witcher 3. that's about it i think! I ...

Re: 2014 Nominations: Meat Shield
Grimmie, who absolutely spiced up Divinity by being a pyromancer who couldn't control his flame and burnt his allies, ignited oil spills under my feet, healed enemies rather than hurting them, and made some of the most explosive tactical combat decisions full of literal friendly-fire. "Oh no! S...
