Wouldnt a 512 card be better then a 256? Been shopping around, and Asus or Saphhire (ATI?) cards seem to be money for value, but what the hell do I know?

Been looking at ATI X1650 (or higher) 512mb card, another 1gb memory. Im guessing that should do the trick? And my PC accepts PCI cards.....whatever that means! Will let you all know. Cheers for the advice!
