Re: TV Show Mini-Reviews
I do, but I never watch anything live and am now a couple of weeks behind, so it's difficult to talk about it as it's one that likes to have big surprises each episode.Roman Totale wrote:Latest series of Line of Duty just finished on BBC - it's so good! Surprised that seemingly so few people watch it.

Re: Final Fantasy XV
Up until the endgame, and even after then since you can timespazz back most of the time the game is set in a big open world. You spend most of the time there but also with twelve or so dungeons dotted around. You can walk, drive or chocobo around, with flying only available after completing the stor...

Final Fantasy XV
Final Fantasy XV - PS4, XBone What is it? Ok, this is a game that was announced way back in 2006 as Final Fantasy versus XIII - an actiony companion game to Final Fantasy XIII , perhaps in the vein of Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- and Final Fantasy Type-0 . But it didn't turn out like those games...

Re: TV Show Mini-Reviews
I did like they way they fit modern songs into it in a old-western style, it married well with the theme of the show and felt a lot like what they did in Bioshock Infinite. I do take some exception to the track listing saying stuff like "Paint It, Black (as made famous by: The Rolling Stones)&q...

Everybody's Gone To The Rapture
Everybody's Gone To The Rapture - PC, also PS4 What is it? It is a game where you walk around a recently-deserted English village, which is sort of haunted by glowing outlines of the people that once lived there, reenacting key moments surrounding the event. It's an incredibly well-realised setting...

Zombie Ass: The Toilet of the Dead A faecal fiesta! In continuing my self-inflicted quest to watch every Zombie film around, I take a journey to the bottom. Pun intended. As the subtitle makes so abundantly clear, this is not a film about sexy Zombie asses wiggling around, but the other things that...

Those bits look good, but some I've seen, such as Titan vs Titan fighting look a bit..Power Rangers.
Because it's cheaper to have guys in rubber suits fighting and do touch up effects in CGI than to CGI the whole thing.

I don't think John Cleese is particular about what he does, professionally. I heard that he does quite a lot of corporate instructional films. He does, I have seen one as part of a work training thing. It was pretty good, by corporate instructional film standards. He's been doing them for years htt...

I thought Oxenfree was a platformer and bought it when Joose told me it wasn't. I don't really like platformers I think I've listed games I thought I liked but no-one else did before perhaps in an unsung classics or secret shame thread but someone popped up every time and said "what, I like tha...

I got tired about six episodes before the end of the last Gotham, it just seemed to be going in circles. I have a shitload of old stuff to watch and only typically watch 1 hr of TV a day.

My birthday week is half term week 24-28 oct, I have it off. Other than that I'm pretty tight on spare holiday. It depends how long you're thinking to run it, I like to have a recovery day or two after. Happy to transport any that need it from Midlands. Nut bash.
