Re: The Miniatures Project Thread
FJ, if I go with the Slaanesh option then you're not too far off.

Re: The Miniatures Project Thread
Just taken delivery of one of these bad boys, http://pro.bols.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/knight_paladin-277x300.jpg It's going to be one hell of a project, but I'm looking forward to it. Once I finish my current paint job. Despite the canon stating that rogue Knights are rare, I'm fee...

Re: E3 videos
That'll make it easier to clear my backlog then. Fuck paying console prices.
Re: Euro 2016
I was thinking of doing that. The first round's in, but I can use those results for the knockout phases. Most of the hard work's done so it shouldn't be too hard. I might even make mid-table.
Re: Euro 2016
Nope
In fact I suck so hard as to be about 37th out of 40 in the league. I blame Gibraltar.

Re: Euro 2016
Sorry, it was Wales I predicted 0-0. Switzerland I predicted 3-0. My bingatron's quite ambitious.
Re: Euro 2016
I've got them down for a 3-1 win. I admit that sounds unlikely. More so after today where my bingatron was proven inaccurate twice more, although I did successfully predict a draw in the Albania Switzerland game (albeit 0-0).
Re: Euro 2016
Ah bums. I was right until the 88th minute.
Euro 2016
Yeah, 90% of you have less than no interest in football, but I thought I'd open a discussion for those who do. I'm in a syndicate at work which goes off prediction accuracy. So I created a huge bingatron to work out the most likely outcome of each game based on qualifying (or friendlies in France's ...

Re: Overwatch.
Lucio's my favourite support. I like his mobility and relative punch. The all-Lucio custom game we played was great fun, punting each other into the pit.

Re: Tales from Dwarf Fortress
I used that graphics pack. Makes it clearer but the interface is still a challenge. I'm convinced it's deliberate.

Re: Overwatch.
I can't remember who first said it, but I've often heard that the best games are those that keep you making interesting decisions. Playing as Bastion, the only really interesting decisions you have to make is where to set up and when to bug out, so I think what they need to do is encourage him to m...

More useful, less pretty. See? Bastion is a pussycat.

Butter Chicken was actually Indian? I'm genuinely surprised.

Re: Movie mini reviews
Drive was a funny film. The main character reminds me of Leon, in that he's an utterly cold psychopath who latches onto some humanity. It made for an interesting film which came across as a little sterile to me.

Re: Movie mini reviews
Oh *that* was Bruce Campbell. I saw his name in the credits and then forgot about him. I liked that scene, even if the point was painfully obvious. I did like the interaction with Pam Grier's character, where Snake points out she used to be a dude (which was kind of obvious anyway) and insists on ca...

So bad it went past bad, round to good, then kept on going to mediocre. Watch drunk for nostalgia.
