RTS Round Robin

Hi 5punkers, look I'm using the forum! Flaunt convention! I realised the other day that I've got so many RTS games and nobody plays them with me . This made me a very sad Grimmie. How would some of you fine figures like to play a sort of round robin style tournament of various games together? Here a...

Re: BASH, bash, bash.

Tentative yeses from Em and myself. Presumably you mean Friday 18th?

We'd only be able to do Friday - Sunday though, I think.

There was a preview of the 1.1 update at PAX, here's a PC Gamer hipster telling you about it.

Re: Norman's Guy

I'm almost certainly going to get it when it comes down in price, I love the concept, and the design really flicks all my sci-fi switches. My only reservation at this point, ignoring the potential the game had and squandered, is the triple-A price point for an indie game. £25 maybe? Having played pl...

Re: Brum Bash X - The one not at Grimmie's parents' house

Please note: We're short 2 comfy sleeping spots (airbeds/campbeds/sofas etc) and 4 lots of blankets, and are pretty low on pillows, but lots of cushions.

If you can haul bedding over here then that'd be great!

Re: Brum Bash X - Activities

Surprise addition, which also needs a Mr J rating to be legit: A frickin' casino - £?? - www.grosvenorcasinos.com/local-casinos/birmingham About 15 minutes drive away in the city centre, same(ish) location as the pub crawl. I'd never been in a casino before, but Em's brother took us to this one for ...

Re: Brum Bash X - Activities

West Midlands Safari Park - £20 for admission, + £10 for theme park - http://www.wmsp.co.uk/ About 30 minutes drive away. Requires people to subject their cars to a safari park experience and for passengers to be comfortable for a long drive, but it's worth it. Not quite as spectacular as Mr J's Zo...

Brum Bash X - Activities

So, we were gonna go fire arrows at targets for Brum Bash X, but that plan fell through when the field got booked out by a wedding. Here are some ideas for other things we could do, let me know which ones tickle your interest and which ones you'd hate. The Black Country Living Museum - https://www.b...

Civilisation VI

So hey, I follow the guys that used to be Game Trailers, and support their Easy Allies patreon project.

One of the guys, Ben Moore, had the opportunity to play 60 turns of Civ VI and here are his first impressions.

Re: Brum Bash X - The one not at Grimmie's parents' house

Bad news guys, the archery club just got back to me today to say that a wedding party's rented out the field for the whole Saturday, and the club are using the field to shoot on Sunday. This means to twangy-twangy bowtimes. I'll see if there are other clubs that could do it, but we were gonna get a ...

Available for preorder on steam already. It's gone cartoony, which I suspect is to increase legibility on the map. Could work.
