Pete's first shadowrun adventure: Tierra madre

Post by HereComesPete »

**Previous tales of the beard can be found in the consolidation thread. Some rules and whanot can be found in our wiki. Go give them a read and feel enlightened!**

Okay ladies and gents. The following is a list of players and characters that will be embarking on the run I will start in a few days. There is still time for anyone else who wants to join. Poke/pm me and/or joose and we can hammer a character out toot sweet with you.

Jon - Fabyak
Jasper - Dog Pants
Firenza - Roman
Alexis - Joose
Alvrin - Deject

Few notes -

If you have addictions or allergies, roleplay them or I will for you! :P They're not just free BP to then forget about.

I will be using street cred/infamy etc through the runs. Joose intends to as well. You can read about these on p265 of the 20th anniversary edition rulebook. I've had background on your characters so you will receive a set of numbers each to plug into the relevant categories.

I'll kick off around the same time as Joose, the runs are going to be shorter initially so hopefully it won't be too much brain spazz trying to run the extra characters.

I don't mind you stacking a few actions outside of combat, but when bullet time is active you will be expected to wait on initiative lists.

Feel free to pm me about anything you feel isn't clear or up to scratch in the rules and we can clarify or work out a house rule. Joose is going to put up some SR house rules and we'll be using most of them, given I've pestered him for probably most of them. :)

If I come into contact with Silver then I will roleplay it. :P And I will try my best to stay in order, I promise. I can't wait to play a non-mage.

Also, we should all pick speech text colors for this run. I was thinking I could take Olive like my SLA guy, but I am open to anything readable.

I'll take blue then if nobody else has a good reason for it. I want to be as different as possible from Al so I don't get confused.

I had Olive for Jon in the last run, but I don't mind changing... I'll just put it down to Jon putting on a stupid voice or something 8)

You can use any colour you want gents. I use tyrian purple for Frank, though I do have to type the hex triplet '66023C' if I want to colour his speech. Have a look at this for a colour you like. Nothing too hard to read though!

I have data files from all of you! I also have background from DP, Roman and Deej.

Joose and Fab, can has a page (ish) on your char, past, present, future, likes, dislikes etc.

This is Franks for an idea on what you could write, I don't need as much as that, just that I enjoyed writing it!

Not quite changing - some are keeping their old characters in Joose's game and running two. Just to keep things confusing.

Nothing more fun than to add a handful of confusion.
